It's still Springtime and nearly time to kick off the start of Summer. This weekend, the weather is looking magnificent for an early takeoff into the 2010 summer season. Because, this weekend, it's "Ladies and Gentlemen, start your turbine engines!"

LA Jets Spring 2010 is this Saturday and Sunday, May 22nd and 23rd. So come on out to the Sepulveda Basin. Come out to fly or come out to watch. Or come out to watch and fly. Pilots may pre-register for the event online and, as always, the dazzling display of jets is an event FREE to spectators. Visit the LA Jets web site for more information and some great photographs of recent jet events.

This coming Tuesday, May 25th is our monthly Club meeting. The venue is our usual place: the Encino Community Center. We may explore the possibilities of the previously mentioned Rotor F/X hangar at Van Nuys airport for future meetings, but not this Tuesday. The Valley Flyers would like to thank those that helped out or came out to the Learn to Fly event last weekend. And this weekend you won't want to miss... LA Jets!
